Join Janet as she walks you through the steps of making a Lone Star quilt using the Quiltsmart interfacing. This method provides a way to get crisp points on your star and a quilt top that will lay flat. Attendees can use their project as a wall hanging, part of a larger quilt or even a tree skirt.
Attendees will need to bring the Quiltsmart Lone Star interfacing (available for purchase at the shop), 3/4 yard of six coordinating fabrics, 2 yards of background fabric, applique pressing sheet, sewing machine with new needle, rotary cutter, and general sewing supplies.
Students need to have the cutting for the quilt completed prior to class.
